The Nell-Breuning vocational college, with more than 2000 students and around 100 teachers, is a commercial school for business and administration in the hands of the funding body of the Rhein-ErftKreis, NWR in Germany. In addition to various branches of the dual vocational training (banking, wholesale and foreign trade, office, retailing, warehouse), it offers a full-time course Commercial School, Higher Commercial School and Business High School. The last two educational programs, from which the participants of the program come from, offer foreign language profile classes. Overall, there is a strong focus on Europe hence the certification as a European School in NRW made in summer of 2015.
All schools in NRW are subject to a quality analysis. For several years, the NBB has been sending students from Germany into internships. Likewise, it acts as a receiving institution for years and arranges or supports students of its partner schools in France and Spain during their internships in the Cologne area. The key people involved in the NBB are English and Spanish teachers with many years of experience in European mobility programs, which - in addition to the non-existent language barrier - contributes to special intercultural competence and perception and guarantees a special sense for the problems dealt with in the project. Colleagues from the area of
Business and Informatics who are jointly responsible for securing and disseminating the project results, as well as the technical support, have plenty of experience in the design or maintenance of various homepages and the necessary use of all the technical hardware.

C’ TESEK LIMASSOL
The C’ Technical and Vocational School of Education and Training (TESEK) in Limassol is one of the eleven public technical schools in Cyprus, operating under the guidance of the Ministry of Education, Sports, and Youth. Established in 1989, the school has grown steadily and today serves 402 students, supported by a dedicated team of 126 teachers. It offers a dynamic and comprehensive three-year full-time educational program for students aged 15 to 18, combining general education with specialized technical and vocational training.
In their first year, students select a specialization from one of the school’s four main fields, depending on their interests and career goals. The available fields of study are:
Hotel and Catering Professions
Electrical Engineering and Electronic Applications
Applied Arts
Agriculture
Each field offers both theoretical and practical pathways, allowing students to gain hands-on experience while also developing strong academic foundations. The curriculum is designed to equip students with essential life skills, professional knowledge, and the technical expertise required to either enter the job market immediately or continue with further education in their chosen field.
A key feature of our school’s identity is its active involvement in European programs and partnerships. Over the years, C’ TESEK Limassol has taken part in a wide range of Erasmus+ projects, giving students the opportunity to travel abroad for practical training placements in various European countries. These experiences not only help students improve their technical and language skills but also expose them to diverse work environments, cultures, and professional practices. Such mobility initiatives enhance their personal growth, intercultural understanding, and employability within the broader European labor market.
Furthermore, the school proudly participates in the “European Parliament Ambassador School” (EPAS) programme. This initiative aims to promote democratic values and European citizenship by educating students about the European Union, its institutions, and their rights and responsibilities as EU citizens. Through workshops, debates, and other educational activities, students become more aware of their role in shaping Europe’s future and are encouraged to actively engage in civic life.
Thanks to its strong academic foundation, European partnerships, and commitment to student development, the C’ TESEK Limassol continues to play a vital role in preparing skilled, open-minded, and responsible young professionals for the demands of moder in society.
